We Day

  • Students earn their way in by doing service projects. They also will do a project during the 2012-2013 school year as part of the We Day program.
  • The day is held on October 24, 2012 at the Calgary Saddledome. The day runs from 9:30-2, but students are expected to be there for 8am (they will need to bring a lunch).
  • Applications to be a part of "We Day" open on March 19th and close May 4.
  • Every PSD70 School can receive 25 tickets (guaranteed). If a school does not use their tickets another school can NOT use them. 25 each only.
  • The age group is for grade 6 students and up.
  • Let Travis know if you are interested in participating

KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice. This video has been viewed by over 4 million people on YouTube alone. Many young people are aware of this and are taking action and participating. It is a very powerful film...
